東北の寒村に生まれる。
幼少より猫とカメラに興味を示す。
長岡市東神田で幼少期を過ごす。
昭和41年柏保育園入園。
親にピアノを習わせられ、卒園式で演奏させられる。
以後、嫌々ながら７〜８年やっただろうか。
昭和44年長岡市立富曽亀小学校入学。
首席で卒業（自称）。
昭和51年長岡市立東北中学校入学。
