I have always traveled on the edge of the cutting edge.

I am usually there first--doing something while it is still too new.

Whether in art or business. I am a storyteller.

I make new ideas visible--here on Facebook, as a journalist, publicist, photographer, curating an art show, promoting an event, launching a product or telling a story on stage

We are now in the midst of a great upheaval and an exciting shift.  

Don't look at it as a downturn but the start of a new sustainable era.

Almost everything needs to shift to a new shared, collaborative, socially-enabled or eco-conscious paradigm -- and that's a huge opportunity for everyone.

Those who jump on board and lead this shift will be enriched in the future.

Whether it's car sharing, copyright sharing, code sharing, movie-sharing, information sharing or house-sharing, we're learning to share what we have as humans.  

It's about time we rediscovered our interconnectedness and stopped being so alone.

We are learning to appreciate that everything inside us and outside of us is energy--this will change medicine and energy production as we move out of the chemical and fossil fuel era.

We're remembering what good food tastes like.

We are opening up and sharing our hearts and minds as well.

On a personal side, I am an East Coast transplant lucky to live in California since the golden 1970s and love anything outdoors--sailing, swimming, hiking, climbing to high places and backcountry skiing.

I walk a lot.

A health food nut and yoga practitioner, I promote healthy, sustainable values in the events and products I help produce and promote.

I have two green thumbs, got a certificate in Permaculture, and have been lucky to live many times in my life in beautiful rural places -- including the Brandywine River Valley where I grew up, Malibu, the South of France, the Santa Cruz Mountains, the Sonoma Wine Country, Mendocino and near Marin County's Mt. Tamalpais.
