Forget everything you know about international DJs and allow your-self the pleasure of meeting DJ/Producer Philipp Carreires, born in New York and raised in Brazil since the age of 5.  Carreires has been internationally renowned in the world of electronic music by the press in both Brazil and the United Kingdom as one of the most essential DJ/Producers on the American Continent.  The innovations of Philipp Carreires’ continue to make people dance and vibrate at festivals and clubs around the world.

Philipp started his career in south Brazil where he spun at the best clubs of Porto Alegre (RS).  In 1998 Philipp returned to New York to continue the growth and to spread the distinctive sound that has made him so successful.  In 1999, Philipp was invited back to Sao Paulo, Brazil to become the resident DJ at Naja Club, Banthu and Donna Club.  From this point in time Carreires’ career took off and his name would soon be well known and remembered.

Philipp continues to gain respect amongst electronic music followers through the use of his knowledge and demonstrating his passion for the art of music.  Using technique, feeling, and his charisma Carreires is capable of rocking any crowd for hours with his fusion of tech-house, grove, tribal, and progressive.  His passion is never so evident then in his 4-8 hour sets that celebrate everything that electronic music has to offer; and provides fans a euphoric experience.

In 2007 Philipp Carreires had the honor of becoming part of a select group of DJs.  He was nominated to take part of The DJ List, a website that has 143,000+ registrants in over 150 nations across the globe that vote to choose the most influential names in electronic music.  From 2007 to 2010 he was ranked in the Top 10 category of, both, the international Techno House genre and Overall in Brazil. Philipp has earned the honor of being acclimated with names such as Hernan Cattaneo, Marco V, Richie Hawtin, Ricky Ryan, Cristian Varela, Marcel Woods and Tocadisco.

Beyond his numerous performances in Brazil he also spread his sound to the United States(New York), Canada (Montreal), Argentina(Buenos Aires), Chile(Santiago), Uruguay(Montevideo), Colombia(Bogota, Cali, Medellin), Peru(Lima), Mexico, Ecuador, Bolivia, Japan, Croatia, and many parts of Europe.

Carreires music productions have received the support from many international DJs including Carl Cox and Danny Tenaglia to name a few.
