Dionysus has been producing electronic dance music since 1996.  Viewing himself as "part electronic musician and part audio alchemist," Dionysus has worked the underground dance music circuit while experimenting with a variety of genres over the years.  Refusing to be imprisoned in a major-label contract, Dionysus has repeatedly launched his own projects to infect the masses with his bangers.

Dionysus started out writing trance -- and then explored many genres, including house, jungle, and drum n'bass -- before eventually falling in love with the hardcore sub-genre trancecore (also known as freeform) that was coming out of the European underground at the time.  Dionysus pioneered the introduction of Trancecore in the U.S. by founding its first dedicated label, Romantek Records.

In 2001, Dionysus kicked off the label by releasing two tracks -- "Always Connected" and "Please You" -- as a 12" single. After becoming the first Trancecore label in the United States, Romantek Records proceeded to release six additional tracks in the form of 12" vinyl records. These releases not only showcased uplifting melodic bangers by Dionysus like "Channel In" and "Elevated Consciousness," but also included some hard, dark, pumping anthems such as "Want To Merge" and "Vampire's Return."

As Dionysus' musical repertoire evolved, he expanded into other EDM genres, exploring Breakbeats, Electro, Drum N' Bass, UK Garage, Downtempo, and Techno. For his 2009 "24-Bit Slow Jam" tour, Dionysus developed custom performance software to allow his performances more interactive possibilities than a traditional DJ rig.  During shows in Hawaii and California, he revealed a series of evocative experimental electronic lounge tracks filled with both glitchy and groovey moments.

Soon after amazing experiences in Tokyo, Hawaii, and California, Dionysus shifted his production focus to "four on the floor" dance tracks. In 2010, Dionysus unveiled his heavy big-beat album "Dancefloor Tempest," a relentless series of pumping grooves characterized by heavy techno drums, big basslines, and trancey harmonies. For the tour, Dionysus expanded his custom performance software to create his own virtual DJ software with four virtual turntables running directly into a four-channel mixer. Equipped with a new level of performance flexibility and DJ-style interface, Dionysus stormed the dancefloor.

In 2012, Dionysus launched a new label -- Tektite Music -- to release his album "Dionysus Dreams."  This ten-track album contains hypnotic beats, huge basslines, and epic harmonies that evoke a variety of emotions. Some compositions from "Dionysus Dreams" serve to transform reality into a dreamy scene, while others paint mindscapes that can be ferocious.

In late 2013, Dionysus unleashed his album "Dare To Dream". Immediately, reports of dancefloor explosions across the globe began rolling in... As momentum builds, Dionysus looks to the future with new inspiration.

Dionysus' many years of practice producing various genres of EDM have resulted in precision artistry and tight production.
