ジャズから始まった彼女の音楽の歴史は、今はブラジルにある。愛する音楽が生まれた土地で生きる事を選び、１人で渡ったリオ、コパカバーナで今は亡きバーデンパウエルを始め、レニアンドラーヂ、カルロスリラ、ロベルトメネスカル等、ボサノヴァアーティストと交流を深め帰国してからは、ボサノヴァ、サンバというカテゴリーを超えたブラジル音楽の表現者として今や日本を代表する「CANTORA」として君臨。２００５年４月OMAGATOKI CO.,LTDレーヴェルから『 Y. Tomohiro & Os Amarelos／黄夢(きいろいゆめ)』にフロントヴォーカリストとしてアルバムデビュー。そのジャズで培われた巧みな表現も素晴らしいが、それよりも、彼女の「声」。それに触れた人は「神」を感じ、魂が底から揺さぶられ、言葉を超えた感動をおぼえるだろう。これからの彼女は恐らく日本だけではなく、その歌うという指名のため、世界中を駆け巡るであろう。そう、あなたは、幸運だ！ここで、彼女を見付けられたのだから。

La ela enganjou com artistas de Bossa Nova – com Baden Powell e outros com Leny Andrade, Carlos Lyra e Roberto Menescal.  Depois que voltou do Japão, ela se tornou uma praticante da música brasileira que ultrapassa as categorias de bossa nova e samba e hoje ela representa a cantora que representa o Japão. Em Abril de 2005, ela foi a vocalista no seu primeiro albúm “Y”.  Tomohiro & Os Amarelos/Yellow Dream,” que foi lançado pelo Omagatoki Co.,  Ltd.  As expressões sofisticadas cultivadas por este jazz são maravilhosas.  Mas muito mais do que isso é a sua voz.   E todos que ouvirem a sua voz vão achar que ela é uma deusa, e serão elevados a emoções que vão muito além de palavras.  E assim será de agora em diante iuko.m  fará apresentações não só no Japão,   mas ao redor do mundo.  Você será afortunado se vier a　descobri-la.　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　 　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　The musical history of < iuko.m> that began with jazz now lies in Brazil. She opted to live where the music that she loves was born, and made her way to Copacabana, Rio de Janeiro on her own. There she engaged in exchange with Bossa Nova artists starting with the deceased Baden Powell as well as others such as Leny Andrade, Carlos Lyra and Roberto Menescal. After returning to Japan, she became a practitioner of Brazilian music that surpasses the categories of bossa nova and samba, and currently reigns as the Cantora representing Japan. In April of 2005, she served as front vocalist on her debut album “Y. Tomohiro & Os Amarelos/Yellow Dream,” released by the Omagatoki Co., Ltd. label. The sophisticated expressions cultivated by this jazz are wonderful, but even more than that is her voice. All those who encounter it feel that she is a god, and their spirits are shaken at the roots as they experience emotions that go beyond words.
