I’m Shota Kita who is a postdoc in Loncar's group, School of Engineering and Applied Science, Harvard University. My previous research was photonic crystal nanolasers and its sensing including medical diagnostic applications based on human blood.
学振PDにより海外渡航中(2012/09/18～現在)．博士課程ではフォトニック結晶のイロハとそのセンシング応用について学んだ．

Now I'm interested in several stuffs as below;
1) Nanophotonic structure enhancing optomechanical effects (phonon amplifying and lasing)
2) Sensors based on mechanics
3) Photonic devices utilizing novel effects
4) Novel nano structure fabrication techninques
